We are currently recruiting for ABU DHABI City facilities for:
Senior Laboratory Technicians
Job role:
The laboratory technician who will have a relevant experience in APT of preferably, research and customer services lab involving analytical/physical techniques, such as Chromatography, Spectroscopy, Thermal Analysis Rheology, Microscopy, and Wet Chemistry in polymer characterization. He will carry out necessary analyses supporting research tasks help researcher in the Borouge innovation process. He will operate, and calibrate equipments typically used in the subject field, help provide analytical inferences from the test analysis related to projects leading to new product / method specifications and knowledge development. Besides his listed skills, the technician will have a necessary theoretical and practical knowledge of his area and its applications in polyolefin’s. Any additional competencies, such as, computer literacy, knowledge of LIMS, SAP, SQC and/or other analytical tests would be regarded as a clear advantage.

Requirements:
Oferujemy: - Technical degree, preferebly BSc in Chemistry, Polymer Science or related discipline
- 5 years in analytical and physical testing in the field of polyolefin’s
- Knowledge of Polypropylene and polyethylene plastics. Operational and theoretical knowledge of MFR, Rheometers, FTIR, NMR, UV-VIS, DSC, TGA, DMA, TMA, SEM, LM, GC/HPLC-MS, GPC, XRF, Density etc. technique in polyolefins’
- Fluency in English is a must!
