AP Accountant with French

On behalf of Sony Pictures Global Business Services in Gdynia, Poland, we are currently recruiting for the position of AP Accountant with French who will contribute to the achievement of performance and quality standards in Accounts Payable area.
 
AP ACCOUNTANT WITH FRENCH

Your role will include: 

• Managing invoice administration and processing (checking validity and completeness of invoices / credit notes; setting up and maintaining master vendor data records)
• Managing vendor documents, including archiving of scanned invoice requests and emergency payment approvals as well as creditor reports
• Preparing payment proposals
• Preparing electronic payments and checks
• Processing manual payments
• Following-up and resolving payment issues/ queries, stopping payments where appropriate
• Liaising with AR / Treasury
• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of all intercompany transactions
• Achieving performance objectives as agreed with the assigned Team Leader
• Reviewing travel authorization requests in line with the relevant policy and entitlement brackets
• Handling initial travel requests and process invoices for completed travel
• Reviewing T&E claims for adherence with the policy on a sample audit basis
• Performing periodic audit of T&E claims

To be successful in this role you should have:

• 1 – 2 years of experience  working within Accounts Payable process or any other core financial process in an international environment
• SSC experience will be an advantage
• Knowledge of IFRS and other regulatory requirements (eg. VAT)
• Good working knowledge of SAP
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to operate in an international environment

Language Skills:

• Fluent business French language skills (oral and written)
• Fluent business English language skills (oral and written)
