Our client, PANDORA Jewelry, a Danish company that designs, manufactures and markets hand-finished and modern jewelry, is setting up a new Financial SSC in Warsaw, Poland, and is recruiting members for its Accounts Payable Team:
Senior Accountant/AP

The job objective is to oversee and process AP transactions with efficiency and high quality, handle enquiries from internal and external customers in a timely manner and build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers. Moreover, senior team members will identify opportunities for process improvement and assist junior staff in performing their tasks according to the required standards.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Processing transactions – processing of vendor invoices and reminders, processing of automatic and manual payments.
• Overseeing scanning and verification of incoming vendor invoices.
• Clearing open items relating to vendor accounts.
• Processing T&E reports and credit card transactions.
• Administering credit card files and credit card set-up.
• Handling T&E reminders.
• Overseeing the creation and maintenance of vendor master data.
• Solving vendor issues and exceptions.
• Handling AP as well as T&E period end and reconciliation.

 
The successful candidate will have a B.Sc. in finance/accounting/ business administration and have 2-6 years of experience with accounting/AP. Candidates must be fluent in English (knowledge of other European languages will be a plus) and have a good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (preferably Dynamics AX). International experience in a Financial SSC or a large multinational company is desired. For senior positions a Ministry of Finance accounting license will be an advantage.
