Managing Director

On behalf of a German company dealing with various technical products in Europe we are currently looking for successful and qualified candidate to take over the position of Managing Director.
Your role will be to support and guide the team in developing sales and increasing market share. As the company hires a group of 7 people responsible for sales and customer service, you will be engaged in every day contact with key customers, assisting sales representatives in conducting negotiations and leading presentations. You will be asked to assess strengths and weaknesses of the team, increase their effectiveness, introduce KPI and control daily activities. Managing director will be responsible for the PnL and all business operations (including sales, financial control, warehouse, logistics, service), and will cooperate closely with the German HQ.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven successful track of managing sales in one of international companies from the technical industry. Managing director will be responsible for the turnover, stock and profit, therefore good understanding of financial operations and confidence in working with figures is essential. You will be working with DIY stores (home improvement) and relevant experience will be of a great advantage, however the company expects that the ideal candidate will have the market knowledge, business understanding and vision to seek for other business opportunities.
The Polish team requires a strong leader, who posses the ability to convince and motivate people to reach ambitious goals.
We are looking for a Polish speaker with fluent English (and preferably German). Master degree in economy or engineering will be an advantage. Working knowledge of MS Office software is required.
The job will require frequent travelling in Poland.
The company offers an employment contract, a clear bonus scheme, company car and other tools.
