Channel Manager (media industry)

Increase prestige of an international brand on the Polish market
We are looking for a Channel Manager who will be responsible for managing the whole operation including sales, marketing and budget in Poland. This is a great opportunity for senior and top managers who want to take their career to the next level.
The position will be located in Warsaw, Poland.
The Channel Manager will be responsible for contacting distribution partners and establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with them, working closely with internal departments and leading the development of channel programs. Managing sales team of 6-7 people as well as managing the ad sales performance of the channel. This is the leading role in the company and it will require direct management of all aspects of daily operations to achieve profitability goals, oversee marketing strategy for the channels portfolio, manage sales forecasting activities and revenue-generating goals to meet specific goals and profitability, manage market analysis and development to identify new distribution possibilities, revenue and programs content opportunities to meet planned objectives for growth and financial success. You should be able to recommend solutions, prepare and present proposals, negotiate and sign contracts.
Your key role is to represent the company and increase popularity and prestige of the brand and its channels.
In order to meet these goals you need to have 10 years of working experience with at least 5 years of experience in managing people across a variety of disciplines, excellent understanding of media business, demonstrate a strong sales track record in the media sector preferably with program providers and a strong network among cable channel distribution companies in Poland, this includes also knowledge of television industry operation.
As you will be leading the management and development of a skilled staff that encourages both team and individual capabilities while promoting an environment that supports the management values and vision of the company, you should have the ability to transform ideas into reality and lead and develop teams. Strong project management and organization skills, together with business acumen, communication and interpersonal skill are required to perform successfully.
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications or Business Management or equivalent combination of education and experience, fluency in English and Polish (both written and spoken) are a must.
